Giacomo was born in 1977 in Rome and his love for film-making started when I first watched Disney’s “Jungle Book”. He even wrote a version of E.T. at the age of six. In 1998 he moved to New York to attend the New York Film Academy. In 2003, he graduated in Communication Sciences at the University of “La Sapienza” in Rome. While still studying, he directed several short films and worked as a reader and then as assistant director. In 2003, he directed the horror “Red Riding Hood” distributed in 2005 in the US DVD market by the MTI home video. In 2004, he collaborated with 2 NGOs on documentaries dealing with kids with social problems in Rome and in Ecuador. In 2005, he directed the 8th -episode TV series “Delitti” Twenthy Century Fox Italia. In September 2006, he moved to London to attend an MA in filmmaking at the London Film School to get a wider international experience. In 2007, his Kodak ad for the “Kodak student Commercial Competition Award 2006” was awarded the first prize and got shortlisted for the Porsche David Award 2007
