L'art brut
Until recently, "outsider art" - the creative output of the handicapped, psychotics or the criminally insane was a secret form of art. But that's all changing. "We want them to develop their personalities and abilities. Art is a therapy", explains instructor Klaud Mecherlein. L'art Brut or 'Outsider Art' is art entirely free from formal artistic rules. It challenges both how we tend to view such "outsiders" in our communities and our expectations of what art should be about.

INEQUALITY SUCKS: "LETS GET THE BALANCE RIGHT"...!
Sport could be seen as sublimation, a creative outlet for aggression. Thus: I choose to channel the anger of negative issues happening around me, in this short visual. This was a voluntary public service announcement, done for the South African Human Right Commission (SAHRC). It was shot in the interior community of Soweto (Zola, Emndeni + Zondi. There was so much energy I experienced from the youth on the day of shoot. This short PSA is basically to use the ordinary + natural things around us, to ease the inequality minds out there. In suffix to say, we are all one: Oneness love continually + spread the love...!!!

The Loss
A young woman goes on a short trip. Emiliano, her boyfriend, does not initially seem to be worried by the distance. Being left alone, after weird events start to follow one another, he eventually starts to think about his feelings. Story and main character’s behaviour are just a way to tell, through symbolism, what is going on in the mind and the heart of one who suffers a loss: anger and absence, neglecting the reality in front of one’s eyes.
