Fire in the Belly - Lucy Beech
In Fire in the Belly two performers re-enact a motivational, ice-breaking exercise in an empty conference room. By extending the exercise to an absurd length, the suggested narrative shifts between comic, erotic, theatrical and violent. The film attempts to disallow its audience to relax into any single mode of experience. To find out more about Lucy Beech, visit their profile Here. Summary: The blind walker tries to take him trusted burden tough, without loosing self-control and with primordial gullibility. He joins all his forces in order not to feel as a stranger but became a resident of this city with his all entity. There in each action everything starts from the beginning. There is no logic but there is a sequence. The extent of this gives a tragedy to the film. The blindness is not a dark for him – the measurement of divine emptiness by 1 % sight. It is rather the form of the loneliness of inner world. We release that emptiness and that unnamed pain as well. Nevertheless this world is not as closed as it seems to us and bringing the hope, amazing freedom in its world without the way out.

Chronos
In Greek mythology, Cronos and time are one and the same. He destroys his own creations, he devours his children. Thus, he is the image of time devouring us. The present seems to elude us as we are trapped in the past and fearful of the future. But if we discover the present moment, we will stop chasing after time and we will become more conscious of living. We will overcome our fear of silence, the void, and ourselves. We will exist in the now without living in the past and fleeing the future. We will exist in a moment of self.

Mother Economy
Mother Economy a short visually stunning experimental fiction film by Maya Zack, 2007 Mother Economy follows the actions of a lonely housekeeper during a day at a house, navigating through the domestic space in order to find traces of family members. She is documenting the position of the objects, drawing marks around them and sketching them in her notepad. Her actions turns out to be part of a traditional systematic ritual, measuring every object and action into a numeric value. Mother Economy presents the house as an economic unit in which even the mother becomes a calculating instrument and the obvious is revealed as reward and punishment.

Les Facettes
The short film Les Facettes materializes an idea in the space between realism and surrealism. In a film noir style, the central theme of forgiving is darkly and emotionally coming to live on screen. Rose, a modern, 24-year-old woman, is being pushed out of a car on the road next to a mysterious park in the middle of the night. Fleeing, she experiences surreal nightmarish situations blurring the line to her reality. Voices speak revealing fragments of her past. She meets a masked person that signifies manipulation, egoism and the dissociation of the self. Next, she stumbles upon a bound and hurt man symbolizing human suppression. Rose’s character transforms on her way through the unknown world. She had intended to take revenge on a friend of hers, but she finally manages to understand her victim’s perspective. She decides to follow the good side of her self and forgives her friend. Thus, the story transports a message of breaking the spiral of vengeance.
