LA CREME DE LA CREME
You want to be rich and famous, or take care of sickly women? That is probably the punch line of the film. Who, these days, doesn‘t want to be rich and famous in our so called 1st world? The film is about a German porn- and beer-lover who joins up with a local snob from San Sebastian, Spain, in order to succeed in the market of Modern Art. Their foamy dreams end in a slightly different way than they imagined. The film portrays in a comic but disturbing, and entertaining, way the last days of our culture, our sooo modern but completely lost society. The story is about freedom that hasn‘t been understood. It is a fairy-tale, the anti WIZARD OF OZ. It shows the lost journey towards oneself. The genre is EUROSCHAUM. Schaum is German and means foam. The foam rises quickly when two strangers meet. Everybody wants to be somebody. Everybody wants to be important, to belong, no matter how deep he has to hide his true self. The film was shot with a low budget on MiniDV. I have choosen this way to finally (after years in screen-play business) get real and regain my artistic freedom.

The Art of the Critic
Comic Satire on modern conceptual art and its critics. A drunken art critic sabotages the launch of a new art movement by discouraging a major curator from buying a set of modern art installations. Incensed by his interference, the ‘New Brutalist Artists’ turn him into a piece of saleable art. But even this act of artistic terrorism fails to silence the Philistine.

Rebel Scum movie trailer
God and Man square off in the American Deep South in the controversial new rock documentary, Rebel Scum. Chronicling two years in the life of "psycho white trash punk band", The Dirty Works, this startling film expands the boundaries of traditional rock documentaries in a manner that is not always comfortable, but is always riveting. The multi-textured movie explores several themes, including mental illness, addiction, relationships, family dysfunction, and the struggle for artistic expression in the heart of America's "Bible Belt." Centered on frontman Christopher Scum, Rebel Scum is, at its core, the story of one man's continued drive to create art in spite of the barriers imposed by society and his own self-destructive tendencies. Bouncing intermittently between the extremes of comedy and tragedy, the film reveals a seedy American underworld that is, at once, both fascinating and repulsive. Rebel Scum. A celluloid train wreck -- not for the faint of heart. The main subjects of the documentary are a punk band based out of Knoxville called The Dirty Works. Secondary subjects include Atlanta band Dropsonic, Asheville based Monsters of Japan, Knoxville based Disobedients & The Cornbred Blues Band, musician/producer Carl Snow, musician/producer Vadim, poet Rus Harper and Michael aka Lumpy. Production of Rebel Scum began two years ago while filming Dropsonic on tour. Director, Video Rahim, of Worldstorm Arts Lab, from Atlanta, caught an opening performance of The Dirty Works and knew there was a story to be told. Francis Percarpio, Producer and Owner of WorldStorm Arts Lab, later seeing the footage independently found a way to brIng The Dirty Works story to film. In the ensuing years production staff have traveled back and forth to Knoxville and to various other Southeastern cities with The Dirty Works capturing their captivating live performance on film for others to see.

CLASH OF THE TITANS REVIEW: Source Material, Anyone?
Director Louis Leterrier definitely brought to life an epic tale of gods and men, with huge stakes, massive monsters, and some great big actors. But if it's faithfulness to the 1981 movie you're looking for, or faithfulness to the legend of Perseus, or even a good 3D visual experience, Clash of the Titans is going to let you down. We enjoyed the hell out of it on some levels, and yet were left feeling completely empty on others. What did you think?~Matt + Nat
