Windows and Walls is a 15 minute film that explores cultural differences by addressing the issues the newly-arrived immigrants face in the USA: After making Minnesota their new home, a Russian family gets entangled in a series of misunderstandings that lead to a tragedy. The friendly-at-first-glance “Minnesota nice” surroundings isolate individuals by creating walls of privacy, leaving windows into the lives of others inaccessibly high.
