Broken Hearts is a docu-drama short film about the lives of Streets (portrayed by J.W. Cortes), the love of his life, Lucky (portrayed by Melissa Gonzalez), and all the close people around them. Streets’ parents fell in love and got married in Puerto Rico while they were in their mid-teens. His mother died right after giving birth to him and his father blamed him for his mother’s death. His father started drinking heavily and wasn’t capable of raising his son. So, he gave full custody to his parents when Streets was only five months old. Several months later, his father dies from Broken Heart Syndrome. At 15 years old, Streets’ grandparents die and leave him their house. He sells the house for $25,000.00 and gets on a plane for New York City. His plan was to become a millionaire by the age of 25...By any means necessary.
