In Tokyo, taxi drivers with superior skills and a keen sense of service are given their own taxi stand. What is being called the "Superior Taxi" stands out as a first for Japan and possibly for cabs around the world.

French police said Friday they have arrested a taxi driver in connection with the murder of a Swedish student whose charred body was found in a French forest at the weekend. Police searched his appartment in central Paris on Friday night. Images of the arrested carried out of the building by policemen after the search.
