Britain is battling the worst flooding in 60 years, with more than 350,000 people and 140,000 homes impacted and total damages estimated at at least three billion pounds. The university city of Oxford, like much of south-central England, is grappling with massive flooding. There the tributaries of the River Thames have overflowedtriggering the evacuation of about 250 homes. on Wednesday. In Osney, one of the city's worst-affected areas, about 250 homes have been evacuated. Residents there surveyed the damage and evacuated their homes, not knowing whether water levels had reached their peak. Voiced report.
