Dead Weight
Dead Weight is a dark comedy about Jason, an everyday man who has accidentally killed for the first time in his life. He is left with a dead body laying on his living room floor and has no idea how to dispose of it. Throughout the film Jason tries to think of different ways to dispose of the corpse, with all of them failing in a comic way. Including the use of a dustbin and attempting to 'cram' the body's sawed off leg in the freezer. However, Jason's daydreaming ends when his wife, Rachael, arrives at the house making things far more difficult. He gets scared and in a blind panic ends up killing her as well, leaving him with 2 dead bodies on his hands.

Kino Otokonoko
Loosely based on the Pinocchio story by Carlo Collodi, Kino Otokonoko tells the story of a young woman who wakes in the aftermath of her fathers death from a series of strange dreams, only to discover she is in fact the product of her lonely father's desire to build a daughter from wood. As Ki struggles to come to terms with this new-found self-awareness she realizes that although she might be different to everyone around her, she was borne of love and loneliness, giving her existence the same weight as every other person in the world. Kino Otokonoko is a Japanese language film shot on location in London by Michelle Tofi and Adam Grundy and starring Kozue Takeda.

Joseph Henry
A psychological drama of loss and unfulfilled potential. The narrative explores innocence and wisdom, hope and regret through, what seems to be, an ordinary conversation between two strangers, a man and a boy who meet at a bus stop. The story unfolds through a fragmented narrative and distorted time line blurring the lines between dreams, reality and memory.
