Enrique Metinides is Mexico City's most famous crime scene photographer. He's spent the better part of his life slinking around crashes and fires and killings taking pictures and rooting out the tons of daily tragedies which mark his hometown. In the first part of this interview, Metinides talks to VBS about getting his start in gore photography and on the sudden flood of appreciation that's poured in almost thirty years after he put down his camera.
