The hopes and dreams for peace of Jerusalem’s inhabitants are examined in this episode. In Hebrew, the name Jerusalem means ‘city of peace’, but Jerusalem has been a city of conflict and wars for thousands of years. This episode explores this contradiction. The city founded by King David has become the focus of devotion, piety and symbolism for three religions, as well as the scene of conflict and confrontation. Few cities – let alone ‘holy’ cities – have seen so many wars, so many conquests and so much bloodshed, as the so called ‘city of peace’. Like in the other episodes, this episode features the family members and the story is told through their eyes.
