Two young lovers terminate the bitterness between their respective warring families, through their innocence and determination. The protagonists Kajol - who went on the cement her place in Bollywood as one of the 'numero uno' heroines - and Vikas Bhalla, exude innocence and look real, which is balanced by the more mature, seasoned performers Shatrughan Sinha and Jeetendra.
