Harris's hawk parents watch over their young in the Sonoran Desert. Their nest is on top of a saguaro cactus. One of the adult hawks spots a wood rat, and flies down after it. The rat scurries and hides in a burrow. Being the only social raptors, other Harris's hawks gather to help hunt the rat. They keep watch as the first hawk scares the rat out of hiding. When the rat panics and runs, a hawk gathers it up in its claws.
