Sandy cliff is home to bee-eaters
Red Cliffs, 30km north of the Nxamaseri River in Botswana's Okavango Delta is peppered with holes that belong to carmine bee-eaters (Merops nubicoides). The birds have distinctive pink plumage and they tunnel into the red sandy cliffs to make nesting holes where they breed during their southerly migration.

In the Moremi Game Reserve in Botswana, a variety of birds chase fish in a pond that has been cut off by receding floodwaters. The various bird species each hunt using a different technique.
