Needless to say, THIS is the start of the summer blockbuster season. Between the conclusion of the Green Goblin storyline, the introduction of Gwen Stacy to the otherwise happy couple of Peter and MJ, and of course, the Venom twist, it looks like Sam Raimi has one huge ride in store for us on May 4. We hope you enjoy our Preview of Spiderman 3, we’ve got all sorts of scenes to share with you, including the birth of Venom in the bell tower, and an absolutely delicious love-triangle scene. Spiderman 3 Review- Holy Crap! That Was Only One...
Alright boys and girls… we just saw the midnight showing of Spiderman 3 and man, is there a lot to say about this movie… mostly because there is about enough story going on in it to make up two or three movies, but somehow Sam Raimi manages to jam it all into one. Shatner's out, Picard hasn't been born yet, Odo is still a pile of goo and Janeway? Who's that? J.J. Abrams has taken Star Trek into the realm of James Bond, Doctor Who and Batman, making Kirk, Spock and Bones larger than the actors who play them. Yes, he's re-cast every single role in an attempt to breathe new life into one of the longest running film and TV franchises in history. We've got an exclusive first look at scenes from Star Trek, as well as interviews with J.J, Chris Pine, Zachary Quinto and the rest of the all-new cast of the original series. Watchmen Review: Oh-Oh Alan... It Was Good. Really...
More positive than we were expecting with an ending that just might take Alan Moore to school. And we're saying ALL that without seeing all the extra DVD-released scenes that have been shot with Hollis Mason, Sally Jupiter--oh yeah and the Black Freighter! So you can bet this will be the first of at least two reviews we'll be doing of Watchmen. Once that DVD comes out, we'll be getting an even more accurate, comprehensive and faithful adaptation. ~Matt+Nat

Quantum Of Solace Preview: Craig’s 007 Encore
Casino Royale made more money in the US and around the world than any other Bond film, and nearly twice as much internationally than Brosnan’s best. So making a sequel in this new, re-imagined Double-O-verse is a tall order. Add to that the idea that this film picks up 5-minutes after the previous one, and we’ve got a recipe for a Bond film like no other. Having said that, Bond films are all action packed, globetrotting, womanizing, testosterone-riddled rollercoasters, so messing around with a good formula is a dangerous game to play. One that Director Marc Forster and Daniel Craig are set on playing. At least a little bit. ~Matt+Nat

Iron Man Review: The New Superhero Benchmark
Matt is convinced this is the new yardstrick to which every comic movie must be measured, and Nat just can’t get enough of Robert Downey Jr.’s performance as Tony Stark. All in all, it seems like Jon Favreau’s Iron Man managed to serve many masters… but let’s break it all down. What did you think? Iron Man Preview: The Perfect Cast
What do you get when you cross an all-star, Oscar nominated cast with a few tonnes of hulking metal? You get Jon Favreau's IRON MAN! With some serious pressure to be a blockbuster, Marvel has all the makings of a winner as their first at bat as a production company. Matt's more excited about this one than he has been about a movie in a while, and Nat can't wait to see her some Robert Downey Jr. So really, everyone's a winner on this one. ~Matt + Nat

Transformers 2 Review: It was...good? Unexpected.
Michael Bay stunned us. Not only was Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen an entertaining enough film to keep Nat’s attention for 150-long minutes, but Matt, (who RAILED against the 2007 film as a classic G1 80’s Transformers fan) actually enjoyed this one, too! The wounds from Bay’s painful re-imagining of the Transformers have healed in the last two years, and a Mute, Camaro Bumblebee doesn’t offend us quite as much as it used to. Maybe that’s what helped make this sequel SUCH an improved experience over the original! ~Matt+Nat

Transformers 2 Preview: Revenge, Anyone?
If you go back to our 2007 review, Matt was on a bit of a tirade about how terrible of an adaptation Michael Bay’s first Transformers film was. Now that all the wounds have healed, Bumblebee is a Camaro, Jazz is dead and Optimus has flames on his trailerless tractor trailer, it’s time to see if this re-imagined Transformerverse has a good story to tell in it. We’ve got three scenes to share with you that give you an idea of what to expect from T2… wait, that acronym is already taken.
