Urban Visual Stereo was created using a photographs and moving image celebrating the New York street art scene of the mid 2000's. Many locations included in this short motion graphics work no longer exist, establishing the need for documentation of this amazing style of artwork.
The fact of the matter is the high line in the meat packing district and the ever changing fun factory ( now known as five points ) along with many small cuts in Urban Visual Stereo show the city is changing. The ultimate message of this work is that street art is a temporary takeover, to be respected, on public space that's been mismanaged and abused by advertisers; ironically the business that I now work in.
