Though the economy has seen a slight upturn in the last year, millions of Americans still must deal with the pain and stress of debt, which can all too easily consume one's life. Photographer Kelly Shimoda visited individuals and families dealing with debt, and created a moving look at an often invisible problem facing the United States.
