It's been said that in New York City, you're never more than thirty feet away from a rat at all times. In short - there's a lot of rats hanging around. So why not do something useful with them? Like using them for fuel? It wouldn't be the first time extra critters have been used to heat human homes - just ask the Swedes, who have made a found a solution to their surging rabbit population by turning the unwelcome bunnies into heating oil. New PETA outrage? Or the next big thing in biofuels?
