The Inspection House - Lucy Pawlak
Our group has manipulated the narrative codes of an Oedipal tragedy describing the return of the son/hero to his family home. The son persuades his sister and parents to form a theatre troupe which he will direct according to a method he has devised. He begins to run training workshops with them, however, the hero's tragic flaw: his desire to train his family in how to behave, soon becomes apparent. The masks allow us to separate actor and character so each participant may perform as every family member.
