BIG IDEAS: ep 7 - Energym by Gustavo Barceloni

01:54  |

After receiving nearly 1000 submissions, and soliciting help from well-known friends including comedians The Sklar Brothers, musician Imogen Heap, chef and restauranteur Susan Feniger, Matt Mason, author of The Pirates Dilemma, and more, a winner was chosen in Gustavo Barceloni: a 14-year-old high school freshman from Everett, MA.

Gustavo's idea is simple: There are more than 20,000 gyms and health clubs in America. That's a lot of spinning and rowing. What if we could harness the power of all those workouts?

As the winner of GOOD and Babelgum's Big Ideas competition, he's also being featured on www.good.is and in GOOD magazine's Winter 2010 issue, and will get the chance to curate the Our Earth channel.
