Highlights and fireworks

Here are a couple of videos. The first contains some highlights from the presentation with Silvio Scaglia, Erik Lumer and Spike Lee demonstrating the new release of Babelgum.

The second one has some interviews shot at the party that followed the presentation.

In Cannes with Spike

Spike Lee was kind enough to have a chat with us for the blog about Movies and Internet and about Babelgum and his short. In the next few days we’ll show you some more footage from the presentation held in Cannes and keep you updated on next steps.

Open Beta? Stay tuned

We’re very happy to inform you that we’re about to announce a major new release and the Open Beta phase.
Details and info on how it will work will follow very soon.

Thanks Spike

We’re honoured to announce that Spike Lee has decided to offer film lovers the opportunity to see footage (previously unseen by the public) on Babelgum.

It’s a project originally commisioned from Spike by UNICEF, the title is “Jesus Children of America” (imdb page).

After a preview to be held next week in Cannes, where Spike will attend Babelgum reception at MIPTV, Jesus Children of America will be available on Babelgum starting from April 18th for a period of 3 months.

What is (really) going on

Here are some rumours unconfirmed news on us and here are the confirmed news by us.

On April 17th we will present a major new beta release at MIPTV in Cannes in the presence of Spike Lee who has personally chosen a short of his (on HIV and children) to screen on Babelgum.

You’ll learn more about Spike from Kay Rush, who will be doing some video-blogging with us, starting tomorrow.

Kay will not only talk about Cannes, but also about programs in the near future and we will soon post about the steps towards open beta.
