Giffoni Film Festival and the Babelgum Award

We’re proud to announce a media partnership with Giffoni Film Festival, Of all the festivals, that which is most necessary as François Truffaut said. What makes Giffoni so unique is the fact that it screens films for youngsters judged by a jury of youngsters.

Babelgum will show 12 shorts (8 from the 2006 edition and 4 from this year’s edition), plus 4 shorts from Giffoni Creative House project and 29 trailers of this year’s shorts. We’ve created a special page on our website with more detailed information.

You can pick a winner…
Babelgum beta testers will play an active role in assigning the Babelgum Award to one of these 12 shorts in the Giffoni Channel. The short with the highest rating at 12.00 CET of the final day July 21st will be presented with an exclusive award hand-crafted in Murano Glass.

…and get a VIP Pass.
We will randomly pick 7 beta testers among those who rated the shorts, and send them a VIP pass for the Rushes Soho Shorts Festival Awards party evening to be held in London on August 2nd 2007. Get rating!
