Ethan Podell is the President of Babelgum U.S. He has founded, built and sold several media start-ups, including: Orbis Communications, where he was Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer; and All American Orbis, where he was Chief Executive Officer. Orbis was acquired by Carolco Pictures and All American Orbis was purchased by Pearson plc.

During his thirty year career in media, Ethan Podell has worked in business affairs for CBS, as a lawyer for Home Box Office and in the entertainment department of the law firm of O'Melveny & Myers. Ethan Podell has a B.A. in English from Brown University, an M.A. from the University of Chicago and a law degree from Northwestern University.
