Depression Diary
Depression Diary is a short drama highlighting symptoms, attitudes and emotions of manic depression. The film focuses around an unnamed teenage girl, a familiar stranger if you will, recounting her journey through depression whilst at school, be it in an abstract, analogous way. Most of her time is spent alone in her bedroom, her world and mind getting smaller around her each day though the big world wrapped around continues to spin regardless of this beings presence. The film suggests that perhaps through reflection and increased awareness, one can become closer to overcoming this prevalent, debilitating mental state.
