Beautiful Losers

Aaron Rose's 2008 documentary about the DIY art scene in '90s New York which launched the careers of Harmony Korine, Mike Mills and Shepard Fairey. Using aesthetics borrowed from skateboarding, graffiti, punk and hip hop, this loose-knit group of outsider artists were to find mainstream success and make their own stamp on popular culture.

Now on Babelgum: The follow-up to Jon Reiss's explosive graffiti movie Bomb It, which through interviews and guerrilla footage of graffiti writers in action told the story of the graffiti movement.
