The lowrider subculture originated in Mexico but now gangs such as Dirty Joker cruise the streets of Tokyo's Shinjuku area. With their own dress code and a taste for hip hop, they drive retro American cars, adjusting the suspension to ride as close to the ground as possible. They claim their customised 'bouncing' vehicles are perfect for picking up girls.
