Valerio Zingarelli

Valerio Zingarelli is CEO of Babelgum. Prior to joining Babelgum, Valerio was an independent member of the Board of Directors of Fastweb. From 2002 to 2005, he was Global Director of Networks and Service Platforms at Vodafone, in charge of managing all Group's technology activities and strategy, including customer terminals. Valerio's career with Vodafone began in 1994, when he joined Omnitel (later acquired by Vodafone), in the role of Chief Technology Officer.

Early in his career, Valerio worked for Alenia - the main Italian aerospace company - and for Cselt, the research centre of Telecom Italia. Since 1991, Valerio's management roles have been complemented by academic activity as Associate Professor at the Politecnico of Turin on Electronic Communications and Digital Transmission.
