LATEST STUNT The Yes Men team up with Corporate Accountability International to punk Dasani. MORE HIJINKS The Yes Men team up with San Francisco activists for an after-screening intervention at a Chevron gas station. On October 30, Mike and his Survivaball chums marked the End Mountaintop Removal Day of Action by joining forces with the Rainforest Action Network and blockading the Fisk Coal Plant in Chicago. 'Balls Across America' begins as the Yes Men launch a fleet of Survivaballs to sail up the East River towards the United Nations. After a Yes Men Fix the World screening, the Yes Men and NYC mayoral candidate Reverend Billy lead the audience into the streets. This time the target was an immigrant detention center. The Yes Men lead the audience from a NYC movie screening to a nearby Whole Foods, where - through the medium of song - they protest against Whole Foods CEO John Mackey's stance against public healthcare. Following a Q&A with Mike and Andy at the Oct 7 premiere screening and a speech by Sam from the Rainforest Action Network, audience members were pushed into action. |
